Composite Body Contouring
Dr. Sterodimas and Dr. Pereira published in the prestigious American peer reviewed journal of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, official journal of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ISAPS), describing for the first time in literature the concept of composite body contouring, which consists of a combination of liposculpture, gluteal autologous fat transplantation and lipoabdominoplasty. This is a 3 in 1 procedure for body sculpturing and buttock augmentation.
Dr. Sterodimas and Dr. Pereira state in this article that ‘Aesthetic surgery of the thoracoabdominal region is one of the most frequently performed surgical procedures in plastic surgery.’
Dr. Sterodimas and Dr. Pereira conclude in this article that ‘Composite body contouring combines circumferential liposuction, fat grafting of the buttocks and lower limbs, and modified transverse abdominoplasty to accomplish very good aesthetic results in a single surgical procedure with a low rate of complications and high patient satisfaction.
